Meet Patti
Patti Bruce
An earth angel, Patti finds inspiration in almost everything she sees from man-made to nature-made. Eco-aware and with a deep connection to the 'aina, she is the queen of upcycling, and believes everything deserves to be loved.
A traveler by nature, she has lived and painted all over the world. Living abroad in Europe and Asia for two decades, Patti came to Hawaii in the 1980s with the intention of staying for a year but, like so many who land on its incredible tropical shores, she was inspired by what she saw and the energy of this magical place, she started her Decorative Arts business in 1991 and never left.
A fine artist and interior designer for over 35 years, 33 of those years on the Island of Oahu, she has collaborated with Hawaii’s top designers and architects on numerous award-winning projects and is the 2006 winner of HGTV’s Designer’s Challenge.
Her artwork has been featured in numerous galleries around the state and include, Martin & MacArthur, Island Treasures, Four Seasons Hualalai, Red Bamboo, Jameson’s and other Hawaii showrooms and galleries. Her art and design has been published in local and national magazines, and she has been featured in “Sophisiticated Surfaces”, a book about Decorative Art.
To Patti, art is meant to be lived. Seeing art on a wall excites the imagination, but wearing it celebrates the spirit!
