Trompe-l’oeil Commission
The architectural detail is painted, but the eye believes there is dimension. It is an illusion. Having lived in Italy, the client wanted to incorporate their pet cockatoo and cats into a Venetian-style mural for their Hawaii home. The mural is 15’ wide by 3’ high, with an egg and dart pattern.
